Adding New TCP Service MonitorsNew Service monitors can be created only from the Probe side. To add a new TCP service monitor, here are the steps:
- From Probe web client, go to Admin-> Services.
- In the opened Services page, mouse over Actions tab and click on Add Service. Add Service page opens.
- Specify the TCP Service Name and Port Number on which the service is running.
- Enter the Timeout interval in seconds.
- Click on Add Service button.
Associating the Services to Devices To associate the services to servers,
- From Probe web client, go to Admin-> Services.
- In the opened Services page, mouse over Actions tab and click on Associate. Associate a service to servers page opens.

- Select the TCP service that you want to associate to the servers.
- Select the device(s) on which you want to associate the TCP service from the column on the left and move them to right.
- Click on Save.
Using Quick Configuration Wizard You can also use the Quick Configuration Wizard to associate a service to several devices at a single shot. Here are the steps:
- From Probe web client, go to Admin-> Quick Configuration Wizard.
- Select Add a new service monitors to several devices option and click on Next.
- Select Associate a service to servers option and click on Next.
- Select the service that you want to associate to the servers and click on Next.
- Select the devices on which you want to associate the service from the left column and move to the right column.
- Click on Finish button.
