Adding a new ProbeTo add a new Probe, first create a probe in the Central web client and install the probe.
Steps to create a Probe in the Central web client:
- From the Central web client, go to Admin-> Probes.
- Click on Add Probe. Add Probe page opens.

- Enter the Probe Name.
- Enter the Email ID to which the reports/alarms generated by the Probe have to be sent.
- Enter the Location manually or click on Locate here link to choose the location and display the same in the Google Map.
- If you click on Locate here link, Add/Update location window opens. [Ensure that you have configured the Google Map. If not get the Google API key and configure the Google Map.]
 - Enter the Location Name and also click on respective location on the Google Map.
- Click Submit.
- Select the Site. If required you can also create a new site by clicking on Add new Site link.
- Click OK.
A Probe is created and listed along with its key in Registered Probes page. Now install the probe. You can view the locations of the probes where they are deployed using the Probe map, provided while creating the probe, location is configured in the Google map.
